I am definately going again. Only missed one since 2003 because it clashed with the A2A. One of the chaps I skated with on the A2A is registered for Cologne this year. Alan has a free entry for winning last year.
Just a small question of whether we can get a group together and see if Hans' contact will do us a group entry or should I register myself for the current price of €50.
Transport wise. Flights with German Wings are available for about £75 including taxes etc to Cologne-Bonn. Out early on Sat back on Sun early evening.
Any takers and I can start to look at accommodation options. |

I said I wouldn't do it this year, but having seemingly missed out on Zug, I might well be up for it.
How soon are you looking to book? I can't remember, does this get nearly as popular with bookings (flights and accommodation) as Berlin? |

| I think we have a bit of breathing space. It's not as big a marathon as Berlin and doesn't have the same number of overseas competitors. It's only 2 weeks after Berlin and the Berlin flights have been pushing £200 for a month or so now. |

| Prefer that budget hotel nearer the start finish registration place we stayed in 2 years ago. Hostel was okay though. |

You may have done. We (Glenn and I) ended up somewhere else about as far from the start area as one could be while technically being in Cologne.
Don't remember the name, do you? |

Hey guys,
How are you? Many thanks for your registration for our race on October 04, 2009.
But what's up with you guys across The Channel? Why don't you come in a big group again like the last years? I can remember that you formed a group of more than 10 persons ... Do you think you may convince some more fellow skaters from the British capital ... What about famous Ghizlane Samir, Hans Brown, Gavin, and Roge?
Please find more information on our competition at http://www.koeln-marathon.de/85-1-information.html.
Thanks for your reply.
Regards,
Sebastian

| I am already registered for Cologne. I see Alan has already signed up too... so far only 2 of us, plus Rick and Dan tentative. Trying to convince Stef to come. |

| Don't think we're going to get a big group so I'll sign up now. Flights wise who is on what? |

| If I'm fully back on skates by then I'll probably be concentrating on the Euro Masters in Italy the week after instead. |
