Hi,
I'm back from my trip to Singapore.
I bought myself a new pair of speed skate.
Bont boss 2002 boot
Mogema M55-84 frame
84 mm wheels.
I bought my skates from:
Skateline Pro (beside Skateline Upper Paya Lebar)
304 Upper Paya Lebar Road,
Singapore 534936
I was served by Sandy Snakenberg!!!
It's not the latest speed skate you can buy but it doesn't hurt my feet 
I've only tried them out once.
I went to East Coast Park (loads of skaters in singapore) and after an hour, my feet were okay except for the two blisters.
Did you know that most sport shops in Singapore sells skates. |

Where the top of the boot meets the ankle.
I guess I'm not use to wear a boot without an ankle strap. |

farhana had the same problem with her Raps boots and the probelwm disappeared when she moved the frames to the "correct" position for her feet |

| Used to get that with my old Bonts, but then they did have quite a strange suede lining and they pressed very hard on me when I was tired (pronating) No problems like that with the Simmons. Strange how different people with their different feet find stock boots from one brand or another to be the right fit. |

Unfortunatly, I think I'm going to suffer with my simmons. They are tight around the ankle and I have very little latteral movement before they hurt. |

| Arjan Smit from the Netherlands uses Simmons specifically because they make a small ankle version. But someone mentioned they make a variety of widths. |

| I got wide. I've found they are a lot more comfortable if I don't lace up the last set of holes. Slightly less scared of using them now. |

Dave Kelly doesn't use the top eye holes on his. I think that was related to the top of his foot being a bit high of the front of his ankle being quite forward or something.
It's way to early to tell if you are going to have trouble with the Simmons. Need a 70 to 100 hours of breaking in before you will see if you are going to have long term trouble. |

 I've just taken the frame off my new skates to adjust them and the thread on the mounting block has come out with the bolt. I've waited 2 months for them, not skated on them and they are ruined.
Grrrrr!
With the amount of shipping+vat/duty I paid on these I could have bought a pair of custom vaypors. |

| Seems a bit odd. They are easy to cross thread but you wouldn't have got it in all the way. Could have been over tightened or a manufacturing defect. Phone them up and see what they say about sending them back. |

I'm going to call them on Monday.
The threads seem to be made in a very odd way, each hole is 'lined' with the thread which, it seems, is not attached to the block. All of them are like it. The thread got caught on the bold and simply unscrewed from the block and, being springy steel, just popped out. It could easily happen to any of the others. |
