Jokes apart, if it doesn't clash with anything else I'd be up to it... (the cycling, I mean! not sure about the cycling+24h skating+cycling back home...) |

You/we can do it in a relay, or, I think, pretty much anyway you fancy that will raise money...
I've signed up, hoping to do it in a relay (but need to discuss with Paula), but won't be cycling. Driving back needs some consideration too though!
I'm happy to join an LSST team, else I'll be hunting another out.
Fig 8 crossover is along one of the runway sections, so shuold be plenty of space and time. |

Great idea, and given my favor for 24h events I am quite tempted.
Sadly, temptation was immediately gone after checking flights and prices... |

So who's up for skating this?
One way or another I'll be hoping to do it in a relay team. |

Might as well start a list, feel free to move to top post or whatever...
- Barrie ( Relay, pref. LSST )
- Fred ( Relay, LSST? )
- Van ( Relay + general fitness with le mans team )
- Pam ( un-structured )
- Lan Lan ( general practice/fitness, not overly structured )
- malspeedster (relay, solo, anything. Have fun, while raising for money )
- Cecile ( & Ben? ) ( possibly, but 1 wk before exams )
- Christophe ( should be doable )

| I'll most likely go along and skate to support this. Not sure yet if I want to do it in a structured team way though |

Not really an event you can make competitive in anyway, unless someone within the community (LSST and/or SR) organises summat.
But yeah, I guess you could go around, time your own laps, race your mates, practice relay changes / drafting, do some training...but surely you'd get bored after a while.
It does sound like a good excuse for a day out though, so will check me calendar |

I definitely plan on being there, though not sure what specifically I'll use it for yet. Will definitely be up for some relay training with other LSST members, but I'd also like to spend time with whoever is coming from my Le Mans team to work on general fitness. We have 24hrs I suppose so there should be ample time to do both and still have a good recovery period. |

I was pondering a bit of both practice/training and fun...
But it's all open isn't it... there's a track there, no real rules... so I suspect we can do what we like... one at a time or all together... I doubt we even have to stay for 24hrs...
Solo laps, paceline/drafting laps... training laps ( overtaking rear to front or whatever )
Plus sparky and others there for fun and games.
e.g. we could "book" a few hours here and there for team/training stuff, and leave the rest completely open for people to skate/eat/play/drink/whatever, or anything in between.
Unless anyone has a master plan, if we find out who's going and what they fancy doing, we can work it out from there.

| I'd be up for this as well, as general practice/fitness. Not sure I want to do it in a terribly structured way though. Hope it's not bloody cold when the sun goes down! |

Just register for this.
I am happy to go for relay, solo, anything.
The most important thing is to have fun, while raising for money.
This is going to be my taster before I attempt Le Mans next year . |
