French Inline Cup stops in Lille the 8th of May'

Its one hour drive from calais, doable in one day if the start is not too early.
Eurostar stops there as well, might even be better than by car.
It  looks like there is an open category so should be available ot everyone.

Chances are that I will do it, if so, 3 places available in my car.
Costs should be of £80 to be devided byt the passengers.

update: eurostar prices are £55 return tickects at the moment.
Alex

General rule, not strictly respected, might chnage depending on races :
- single loop races like Meru, Paris etc : all 42 km
- multople loops like Lille, Dijon etc : semi-serious 30 km, serious skaters 42 (50 in Rennes). These races generally raced within a small part of a city.

Nice and Nīmes, being both multiple loop and expensively far, get fewer public.

ok who is up for that?
My take on it is that most of us can only do the 30km race. Only the FISS fast guys and girls might be able to do the Marathon (I will enquiere it if requiered)...

Two option:
Day trip (start is at 11h, so leaving London at 6am)
Week end Trip,
Leaving on the saturday and sleeping in Lille.

If I can fill a car, I will happilly drive there. (alternate choice is train currently at £75)

Costs should be minimal, I expect £50 +- 20 all included per person.

No fiss membership requiered for the open race (30km) the full marathon is only open for FAAST skaters (ie finish closes 30 after min after winner).
Going there for the weekend might be cheaper than going for the day... Don't ask!
Eurostar is NOT an option as there are no train early enough.

I'm going to participate as I am suppose to run the marathon. (start 1pm)

I don't know yet when I will leave but probably on friday evening to Paris and head Lille on sunday morning.

that was the plan, but I can join an expedition as well if you have space.

I can also get my car and catch people in paris on sunday morning...

Any suggestion do not hesitate I'm flexible...
