Due to a mistake from the booking agency, we only have 2 double bed rooms instead of one double and one triple. So no more space is available....
grrrr what the point of online booking if they call you back two weeks later to tell you one of the room is not available.

Hey everyone,
This was my first race of the year and felt good. While only a 30km race, the french have a different view of what open race is compare to mine =) with everyone on speeds boots and skinsuits!
With two categories (Elite and Open) racing at different time, the number were quite small: 180 in the open.
Weather wise, it was mostly sunny, fresh and slightly windy. The race was 10 loops of a 3.11 km in town circuit. The winner won in 55 minutes.
My race just went fine, as usual, I couldn't settle within a pace line, due to my lack of training but manage to stay with someone else for 7 laps. I finished in around 1h18 (results not online yet) in position 122.
Cat started slowly but steady and manage a good 9 lap in 1h29 and she was ill the previous day, not bad for someone who doens't skate that much.
Erika will hopefully come later on to tell her one story, but lets say that she experienced first and the joy of new skates and blisters and did 9 laps in 1h27 then went on for an unoficial 10th lap.
Fred was racing with the elite, and decided to transform his race in a time trial as he did the full marathon on his own without ever drafting. No times or result yet as we left before all the elite time were printed.
More details on times and positions once everything is online.
People from Dusseldorf, over to you....
