| Can't make this one as I'll be riding down from Edinburgh to Newcastle. Hope to join you for the next one though. |

as i sent mine off very late... i don't expect to get one anytime soon.
But i would like to say I have been training to ride with Tom etc, which means I haven't been on the bike for months... haven't skated for weeks (Lord Mayors thing didn't count) and done NO form or exercise for the same period of time.
So DAN don't kill me by going fast and making feel the need to keep up or over take.. i might die! |

OK, who's meeting at Kings Cross tomorrow morning?
traintimes.org.uk says 9:00 dep for 9:20 arrival, or 9:22 for 9:46 arrival, then two miles from station to start point. We all seem to be in group E so the later train ought to be OK unless it's broken or something (it's a Sunday service, after all) |

Wuss indeed
That was fun. As the sole representative of the team, I think I put in a good performance. 4:16, not including the 40 mins fixing my friends triple puncture nightmare, which sent us from near the front to somewhere near the tandems at the back. The weather was pretty crap at the startline, but it stopped raining about 10mins in. Wet, muddy but fun.
It's a nice pacey route and I'll definitely give it another go next year. |

Well done Tom.
I ended up not registering in the end, caught out of time. But will try to look for other cycling stuff to do over the winter. Are there many audax rides organised during that period at all? Otherwise, the new Redbridge cycling centre shouldn't be too far from me. |
