Hey everyone,
Time to start skating in the country side again. I'm currently targeting the area around reading for my next long skate. Its flattish and have a few forest to provide a nice scenery.
Transport will be by car (hardly any public transport for where I want to start but easy access from M4). Bikes as usual more than welcomed
Plan is for an early skate of one big loop, without food stop till early mid afternoon and then crash in a country pub to spend some relaxing time before hitting the road toward London.
I'll provide a first draft of the route next week end. Any one with knowledge of roads with LOW traffic and nice views, please let me know.
who is interested?

| I'm interested. Are you planning on a route check by bike? I grew up in Reading and have ridden/driven most of the roads to the east south and west at some point or other so I might be of use. |

Here is a rough preview of the route and elevation profile.
Maps
At the moment the route is 60Km (real life 62-65), looks allright on the elevation profile.
Start and End from a "PH" wich I read as public House... (x:73.5 y:64.7 as coordinate)
I dont think I will have the time for a route check, but if any one fancy a test.... |

| Can't do a friday route check. I've got a couple of slots available at weekends before 15th including this Saturday (prefer not to) and the whole of the weekend 7/8 March. Easy to combine with a visit to my parents. |

I had a quick review of the route but without the possibility of checking it, any guess is good.
If someone route check it and wants to amend fine, otherwise, I'll just go there and go with the flow...
Whats clear is that I'll be going. Did 14 laps of battersea Saturday and after 3 laps I got bored! |

I'm up for a route check on a bike for either the saturday or sunday before (8th/9th)
Can't read the map though to follow it. Is everything on there? |
