http://www.radamring.de/de/rad/24h-radrennen/strecke/

could any german speaking person find tell the lsCt what this is about...
If its team based, there might be some interest. I could feel a holiday trip coming... one eleven followed by 24h nurburing if dates are close to each other!

My german ist ein bischen schlecht aber it is actually set for August (next year). I'd love to do that, fitness (ie knees) permitting.

It's not a short circuit guys, just in case you don't know, My Le mans time is better than most peoples lap times at the N'Ring in cars, race cars.

Wow, it's 22km long, 72 corners and 500 metres of climbing!

Confused

By the look of it, it's more like it require a proper preparation for this race.

Come on, it's on B.I.K.E.S.
And there are 10 months to prepare for this.

A biker friend of mine was trying to open his own B&B hostel place just opposite the circuit, dunno if it's happening still. That could come in handy...

Just corrected the month to 08. Looks interesting. The week after 111 could make it a nice road trip for a week.

40mins is about right for a decent cyclist doing a "sprint" lap.  i.e. as fast as they can aiming to be quite knackered at the end without much training. I'd say around 38 minutes with some training and the odd decent draft. Club racers should be faster. A lot faster if they are doing it with others in a team time trial format.

If this a relay or a solo event?

24h solo or relay in teams of two or four.
This is a rather insane course though. Expect up to 100 kph downhills and 17% climbs Shocked

Prices are 70 per individual and a little less per relay starter.
