| By all means make a late call but wet weather would not put me off unless it was accompanied by a fair but of wind. In fact wind is more of a pain whatever the precipitation. Nobody else turning up would put me off more than anything so I will go with the majority but train times will be dodgier on Sunday and engineering works may factor. |

The forecast this morning is depressing for Saturday - very wet and windy (20+ mph). But Sunday looks rather better possibility of showers and winds around 10 mph. Could change though.
I'm OK for Sunday but would have finish by 4pm. |

| Lets make the call Friday afternoon. That should be enough time to get a reasonable forecast, I am thinking whilst we may not pin point sporadic showers, we should know if its going to very windy, agreed? |

| Sounds good - I'm pretty flexible. I'll do Christmas shopping on the day I'm not biking |

I agree with the "too early to call" weather comments, and I'm not afraid of getting rained on provided it's not some kind of continuous freezing hail downpour all day.
As of right now, the BBC weather site says Sunday is not going to be much better than Saturday anyway, so let's leave that decision for nearer the time |

Will look out for tomorrow afternoon's call.
In any case, I'm a no for Saturday.
Could make Sunday. |

| I saw the forecasts on the Beeb this morning. Sunday now looks even worse than Saturday, with stronger winds than last Sunday and rain all day (according to their radar). |

http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/90027 is (approximately but I think mostly) the route as described on the route card, if anyone wants to do gpx stuff.
I had to guess in a few places, because instructions like "right at post office" aren't much help when the map doesn't show post offices |
and http://maps.coruskate.net/75.pdf is an amended route sheet with distances in km as measured by bikely |

Must admit the forecast is not looking absolutely lovely, but there's plenty of time yet for that to change.
I propose getting the 07:34 from Liverpool St, arr 08:06. Cheap day return £9.30 |
Presumably then, we are meeting at the British Rail station and not at Lake Meadows Park? |

| Might as well meet at the Railway Station and head straight onto Stock Road going north. |

Good luck and have fun.
I'm not kitted with shoe covers, windproof jacket and mud-guards. Bring on the next one (I can make - after Christmas now most probably).
I hope we have a cold but dry winter... |

Yes, I think if the train is 0734 we ought to be there for 0715 to get tickets (cheaper if three or four of us)
There were major problems there this morning so worth checking all OK.
I have to go off to a concert tonight so will be out of the loop until after 11pm, but willpick up on anything then
One final thing, as I couldn't find a printable map I did this in Google. Its a bit cumbersome but it clears up a couple of unclear junctions |

Yup, I'll be at Liverpool St
If anyone has ready access to a printer and could print me a route sheet, that would be appreciated. Otherwise it's internet cafe time |
