Just needed one more run into the office today to push the road bike computer over 1,000 miles since I changed the battery some time last year. But for reasons I don't fully understand (perhaps it's the weather) I took the fixie instead.
It didn't kill me, and a light bike makes so much difference on the hills going up (but did push on considering the lack of choice on gearing) The run home is going to be fun, a bit of a headwind and a larg-ish downhill. (Usually 30+mph on the geared hack)
...and at some point I'll trip over next big number. |
