| Cycled through gourney-en-bray last. Nice tarmac around there, a town that is proud of their roads. |

Could it be a town run by skaters? |

Seemes to be a nice little circuit with countryside thrown in: http://marathongbr.olympe-network.com/boucle8.html
Having started the thread in the 1st place I now almost certainly can't make it |

| That's the old route. There is a news flash on the side of the page stating that due to scheduled roadworks the circuit has been reduced to 3km not 8. |

Anyone still interested by this race ?
I'm planning on doing the Open race (30km) so I will probably leave the saturday and stay one night.
I considered a one day trip but the race starting at 12 it's not really an option with more than 4 hours of driving. |

Not anymore... or maybe they decided not to use the nice roads for the skating race lol. In comparison Rennes was a smooth ride...
It was the first time they were organising so there were a few issues, security was the main problem as the area was residential, and it looks like the population wasn't well informed. And there were cars here and there on the track.
hopefully they will organize it again next year on the longer route. |
