Had a good fun race, started out with the boys in the front line but got burn off by their first (of many) accellerations, then just spent time in a line with Quentin hoovering up the waifs and drop offs from the frount line, and when the pace allowed dragging myself and them back to it as it passed. As Rick suggested last year, I did like the course, distance and the style of racing, a bit tighter, nice and smooth and no long drags to bore you too much.

The gear felt good, thanks to Ray for the use of the frames, I think these new-fangled 84mm wheels may catch on you know.

Almost managed to cause a accident trying to get some water, not too sure what the best solution is there, the speeds are just abit too high to try and pick stuff up without it being passed.

Big fun, no idea where I was in the pack, I think I was four laps off the leader and three laps off the first line, think I was behind Gav in the club, which is nice and I think a first for me. (Okay, so no Etienne or Hans to beat, but still nice to know.)

I think this race is ideal for those who have been street skaters/marshals/Le Mans fans and want to make the jump.
