Please post here whether you prefer Sunday 5th November or Sunday 19th November, and let me know if you're coming. Cost is £20 not including food or transport.

| Oh, I forgot to add I will tote these up tomorrow evening and let Aunty Charlotte know. She's making the call to book on Thursday morning. |

| 19th, I'm not taking part, just laughing at the others and taking a few photos. |

Do you have to be an accomplished cyclist or anything? I'd like to try it out.
In which case I'd tie into either date. The fifth would be cool though cos then I would tie it in to Alex' skate. |

Ditto.
Both dates would be fine by me otherwise. |

Nope, you don't have to be an accomplished cyclist as there will be an experienced coach there.
Let me reiterate though, that I think you would be unlikely to be able to do both the cycling and Alex's skate on the same day. Partly from an available time point of view - 60m is going to take at least 5 hours not including the transport there and back, and partly from a how knackered you'll be from either one. |

I'm fine with whatever date, and it's ok by me if I have to miss the New Forest skate.
My question was more about if one had to be an accomplised cyclist to take part. I look forward to it. |

| Just a reminder that if you're posting a yes here, you're committing to paying the £20 up front, else Aunty Charlotte would be out of pocket. |

Nope, of course not. That's only for the actual riders. You won't be the only one spectating either, going by the other topic. |

Stop Press: Track booked for 19th November.
I’ve just been speaking to Jill at Calshot again and it’s now booked for the 19th November at 1pm. We have a three hour session with an accredited coach and I will be speaking to him in the next few days to plan a session. I’ll also clear with him about what kind of bikes we can and can’t ride on the track.
If you’re not going to be bringing your own bikes, then the cost f the session includes use of a Calshot hire bike. Just bring your own pedals if you don’t want to be using the clips and straps fitted to the hire bikes.
The session is costing £208 all in and I have paid this myself as the booking could not be taken without pre-payment in advance.
I hope that we’re going to get more than ten people coming along, but on the assumption that we might not, I am going to say that places will cost £20 each. That’s £20 for three hours’ professional tuition on the steepest track in the country, with hire bikes provided!
If we get more than ten people, then we will split into an A team and a B team and I will refund people’s money accordingly, but to make this fair to me I’d like everyone who wants to come to send me money now, please.
PM me for my address and you can either send me a cheque or make a direct payment into my account. I’d rather avoid Paypal if at all possible.
Now all we have to do is to think up some competitions worthy of acf. I was wondering if a nekkid omnium might be in order…? |
I've just pm'd Charlotte for her bank details and will PM each of the people on here who've confirmed they're coming (and riding). |
