TO ALL CLUB SECRETARIES
Ashbourne Speed Skating Club would like to inform you of their intention to hold a race meeting on the Birmingham Wheels Adventure Park track on Sunday 15th July 2007 (subject to permit).
Closing date for entries is Sunday 1st July 2007. All entries with accompanying correct fees (cheques payable to Ashbourne Speed Skating Club Trust) are to be sent to me at the above address. Entries received after this date or made on the day of the event will be accepted at double the advertised entry fee.
Could you please inform all of your members and note that the races start at 12noon with registration between 11.00am and 11.30am. The entry fees and expected race programme is as follows:
CAT 1 1500m & 5000m £2.50 each event
CAT 2 1000m & 3000m £2.50 each event
CAT 3 1000m & 2000m £2.50 each event
CAT 4 800m & 1500m £2.50 each event
CAT 5 500m & 1000m £2.50 each event
CAT 6 500m & 800m £2.50 each event
CAT 5 & 6 2000m “Little Devil” £2.50
CAT 3 & 4 3000m “Little Devil” £2.50
CAT 1 & 2 5000m “Devil” £2.50
All categories Inter-Category Knockout £2.50
The lower categories in the “Little Devil” races will benefit from a handicap (head start)

Ashbourne is a pretty new club and this is their first race. It's on the brilliant track at Birmingham. Would be great if we could show up in some numbers to support them. I'll be officiating probably referee. My car is leaving my house at 09:00 if anyone wants a ride. Please register early to avoid double on the day. You also get your name on the programme and it will help to get enough advance entries to guarantee the event can take place. |
