Not sure of the exact details yet but Alan Moore is trying to put on a level 2 course. This is the bottom level, yes I know it's called level 2. Level 1 is sort of non sport specific stuff and level 2 is the basic skating. It is a prerequisite to getting level 3 which is discipline specific which for us would be speed skating.
This is quite short notice as the plan is to hold it within the next couple of months but it won't be for at least 6 weeks as that is the amount of notice required for the Sport UK tutor to do the non-sport specific bits.
I am wanting to do this but he needs 6 people to make it viable. Not all from our club, you don't even need to be a member of the club. If anyone else is interested in getting a coaching qualification then I need to get your names to Alan ASAP. Expect it to be around the end of October. It will be at South Woodham Ferrers. I will be driving over so no problem with others getting there who don't have wheels.
I hope to get costs and dates soon.

Great stuff. I'll try and get more out of Alan. It is generally a 2 day thing. Most of it is the non-sport specific theory componente such as
teaching children
teaching people with disabilities, etc |

| I'm very keen to come, but can only say I'm a tentative at this point, as I may have some course overrun. I hope to be able to be more definite in the next week or so. |
