Hope everyone had a good skate over the weekend. Richmond sounded great, I'm going to try to get there next weekend.
Looks like Battersea Park is the nearest to me for lunch times, timewise if not distance wise, so thought I'd head there tues and thursday lunch. Was hoping someone could confirm that skating is allowed there and that the surface is ok...???
Looking forward to hearing of any mid week training this week so I can meet some of y'all. |

| Skating is allowed there. From memory, the surface is one-quarter lovely (north side), and otherwise mostly OK except for a rather manky (definitely skateable, but not so pleasant) section around the south-west side. |

A few potholes there, plus twigs, sure to improve your recovery...
Had my last fall there 3 month ago.
Other than that, ok place to train with a good mix of surfaces.

Hi butthead
I went down the the park for the first time last night. Seems to be open all the time and could even see where we were going.
After two laps of warm up we did on fast lap (now that fast for us).
I did 8 min, so what time are you doing a lap in? (just so we know how bad we are )? |

| Good thing about Battersea is that it's open 'till 10PM every day (cos of the GYM and the sport grounds. Couple of dark areas on the path but except for that it's quite bright. |
