We are happy to invite you to the first edition of the Belgian Grand Prix Speedskating which will be held July 9 and 10, 2011. This event will take place at the fully renewed speedskating track Houtemveld in Tienen, Belgium.
RSC-Tienen and RSC Heverlee organise this event for the first time and are determined to turn it into a huge success. This will surely help you decide to participate:
A varied and strong competition program
A total of 5.000 EUR in prizes
All competition will be broadcast LIVE and in full length via internet
Strong challengers such as Bart Swings, Maarten Swings and Ferre Spruyt,
Super competition the fastest lap wins 500 EUR, both for men and women
A big event: we expect more than 400 participants
A first: Open Belgian Championship Waveboarding
On the fully renewed 200m speedskating track in Tienen with inclined corners
The possibility to reserve slots for training sessions between July 4 and 8, 2011
Easy access: 25 minutes from Brussels, camper next to the track, lodging nearby,
Register your members by using the Excel file or through our website: www.belgiangrandprix.com. You can register free of charge before May 7, after this date you pay 5 EUR per participant. So be sure to register now !
Races (preliminary info):
Miniemen : 500m, 800m, 1000m, 1200m
Pupillen: 800m , 1800m , elemination, 1200 m
Cadetten: 1000m, 2400m, 3000m punten, 1500m
Scholieren:1500m, 3000mpnt, elemination, 1000m (finales in the evening or Sunday)
Junioren:500 m(finales in the evening or Sunday), 5000 pnt, elemination(10000m), 1500 m
Senioren: 200 m Dobbinsprint, 8000m punten, 10000 of 15000 elemination, 500 m
Dobbin sprint (fastest lap in teams of 3, 3 laps, third lap counts)

Belgian Open Championship Waveboard: starts Saterday 9h00 + Sunday
Belgian Grand Prix Speedskating: starts Saterday at 15h00 + Sunday
