(breaking my promise, damn but could not resist).
Good post Mike. I guess we can all agree on all this not being "cheating", actually little people ever used that term I still see the Sebby pacelines as just another offer, never had a problem with it, and was just discussing (dis-)advantages (and tactics / precondition differences, which I still think do exist) until things heated up.
And yeah, you have me on that Hamburg entry . Well from that you see I do not have a problem with "amending rules" if it does not harm somebody else...
Looking forward to a great race weekend at Berlin. Got my confirmation yesterday, this is going to be fun! with or without preorganised pacelines
PS: Mike - I never accused anybody of cheating |

Mike,
to me it sound like your are the only one who got heated up.
Re leader/domestics.
If the domestic skaters didn't want to be dogbodys for the leader then should have been faster skaters!
Not sure if I said it before but: I can't wait anymore!
Marshalled the WNS and i felt really unfit tho. Was actually struggling to go from back to front !
I am scared! |

You didn't see the pm's Quentin. I don't want some people in the team thinking that paceline users are taking the easy option or calling them cheats, when in fact those people are just ignorant of the basics of a drafting sport like skating. So maybe I'm taking it seriously on behalf of both Sebby and anyone thinking of doing a paceline with Sebby's crowd.
I would hope you beat me, considering how little skating I've done since February. Regardless, I'll take loads of pleasure in your good results, so you better match up to my expectations. As should everyone else on the team! |

Berlin (if it's anything like Hamburg) won't feel like street skating - it will feel like track racing. The surfaces will be smoooooooth and easy going!!!
(I hope).
Hans said I should get onto the 1:20 pace line for 20 Euros. I fell over laughing... |
