We'll probably skip the 2012 Berlin to do other events. Vary and mix it up a bit while keeping an eye on costs.

I've taken a leaf out of Pamela's book. We did registration back in November. But just booked flights and hostel. Flying out on Thursday, returning Tuesday. Woohoo!

Just got email from EasyJet to say that the opening of Brandenburg airport on June 3 has been delayed. Not sure what this means for everyones flights, the email said there would be further advice in due course.

Hi all,

I have plans to go to this marathon and I've already booked my plane ticket, but I've discovered won't be arriving until after the Berlin Vital expo closes on the Sat night. So, I'd like someone to pick up my reg stuff from there on my behalf and in return they can 'recruit me' (it's my first time!!) and get the half price entry of 30 euro. We can meet up somewhere in Berlin on the Sat night at about 8:30 ish or maybe the next day at the race..... Any takers?

The skating marathon takes place on the Saturday afternoon at 3.30pm so you may have a problem not only with collecting your race number but also taking part in the race if your not due to arrive until Saturday evening.

You will however be in perect time for the after-race party Smile

You may want to check your flights and also whether registration is still open.
Have you registered for the race yet? If not, you may want to check on that first as I have a funny feeling registration has closed already.

Oops - not sure why this wasn't noticed before.

The original thread title read 30th Sept, whereas it should be 29th - I have correct it.

I've also updated the link in the first post to point to the Inline Skating registration page instead of the running one.

Hey Adrian, glad you found us ok, and hopefully the details you wrote were typos and that you've booked everything correcly.
