More news I got the Berlin marathon flyer today - it says the start will be Saturday 4:30 pm. One race where nobody has to get up early |

It was like that the 1st year we did it. I really enjoyed the late start. |

| Don't like the late start as it means hanging around all day trying not to do anything that might make me tired and eating at jsut the right moment. I'd rather get up, have a light breakfast and head over to the start race then eat a proper meal. It should help with road surfaces though if there is a bit of moisture in the morning. I've noticed that with quite a few marathons in Germany in that it tends to rainmore in the mornings and be completely dry in the afternoons. |
