Has everyone else got their paperwork? If so when did you receive it? I don't seem to have mine. Although I wouldn't put it past Quentin to have tidied it up. Knowing when everyone received it would help me to know where to look if it had turned up. Was it in the usual brown window envelope?

you are definitely registered
T3032 Johnson, Richard LondonSkaters Speed Team 1967 42 km Inline-Skating

Could be good to keep your number....
Same for me I received the mail 2 to 3 weeks ago  ....

Seeing as how I am at least a late entrant, I haven't had any post, so can someone remind me where the registration building is please? And what stop it is on the underground?

Finally, is everyone gonna be meeting up outside the Junker tent pre-race again? I'd like to at least start with some friendly faces.

(Note I'm flying out tomorrow morning as we're doing the city break thing first)

Need to get into the skaters area a lot earlier this year to start warming up. Junker tent might not be there. The meeting letters might be but I intend to be inside the "skaters village" by 3pm. If nobody else can be bothered to get off theur bums like last year then I shall go in alone.

11. No shoes or boots with springs allowed.
It doesn't say anything about wheels!

Is anyone heading up for the Thurs AM flight past-ish Vauxhall/Victoria, and maybe wanting to meet up?

I've got a few travel options in mind (driving, coach, paying mother-dearest a visit tonight...), but it'd be good to have some company to help prevent leaving my skates behind while I'm in a dozey stupor...

Best person is Lemming. He'll remind you about your skates and you can remind him to leave on time to get to the airport Wink

There is a cheapish restaurant on the main street very close to the Three Pigs (Stressemannstrasse). Low on atmosphere but plenty of pasta! I could book a table on Friday am unless others know of a better place....

Sounds good!

sounds like the best plan to me too.

I arrive in the afternoon so I am up for a group evening meal so long as they serve pasta or rice.

These are the people who have so far expressed and interest in a meal on Friday evening: Rick, Alan, Barrie, Sol, Alastair, Merton, Michi, James, Caroline, Eric, Tanya, Andy, Kai. I'll add a couple more places and make reserve for an extra large table (plus chairs)... Unless Andy and Tanya find something else, it'll be the restaurant close to the Three Pigs on Stressemannstrasse....

And Ed! & Duracell - assuming the restaurant is still serving food at 11pm...

I'm going up for the Thursday AM flight, but frankly I'm gonna have trouble remembering myself, let alone any kit...

I'm sure PeterC will want to go with the flow, so pasta sounds great for the 2 of us (we're arriving Fri morning so plenty of time to get there).
