I've just registered for the skate and booked the flight; all on the same day. I impress myself!

By flights:
STN SXF 28/09/07 0625h FR8542
SXF STN 30/09/07 2155h FR8547

SXF is the Berlin Schonefeld airport.

I just need to join a training session now. I’ve not been on a LondonSkatersSpeedTeam training session before. Is it as simple as turning up at the place/times stated in the Events section of this site (as listed below) or can it vary on a weekly basis (and so I need to check somewhere for the latest)? Any help appreciated.

• Tuesdays : Tatem Park race track, 18:30
• Thursdays : Richmond Park, 19:00 or Tatem Park 18:30
• Saturdays : Tatem Park race track, 10:30 or Richmond Park, 10:30.
• Sundays : normally this is Hyde Park, or Tatem Park race track, or Richmond Park, in the morning.

Pretty much. I'd still recommend checking the training threads in Training forum to see if people are going.

I have also registered for this marathon but  I need to book the hostel.  Where are you all going to stay that week end ? Will it be close to the starting line ?

Thanks

Probably book the Three Pigs again. It's a short S-Bahn hop from UNter Den Linden which is where the start is.

I am willing to share. Need both Friday and Saturday nights.

Jusat registered for the race. Gave them my Mittlerhein time. Didn't want to use my Engadin time again but it will be the same block on last year's assignments so Ineed to be fit for B again.

DOH!

Most of the reasonably priced hotels are full now. There are a few good hotels with availability (I was quoted 850Euros for three nights at the Grand!!!) Do a search on google and these will all pop up.

Most people will opt for Three Pigs hostel which is cheap, clean, nearish start and hurry up cos thats filling fast as well Laughing

I found " The Three Little Pigs"  on Stresemannstaße 66

I will call them tomorrow for a room for three   Rick, Dan_B and me  and see if they still have a room.
