Leaving from Hyde Park Corner at 13.30, anyone's welcome at your own risk.

Leaving Hyde Park Corner at about 1.30pm. Not entirely sure about the route yet, but I'd like to take in Windsor Great Park for the view.
Option to bail and take the train home or the return route would probably be via Datchet and along Runnymede, which gives a nice flat run.

More details when I've played with google maps, unless anyone knows the London to Windsor route well enough to let me have it!

We'll be riding fixed gear bikes, but geared ones are welcome.  It's likely to be a little faster than the club ride, but not hugely fast either.

I've been back to the garage which used to contain my bike, and the bike is still there.  Which is nice.  So I might be up for this, if it is or can easily be made roadworthy again.

About how long is the route?

One way is probably going to be about 30 miles I would guess, more detail on google maps to come.  There's a train bail-out when we get there, or a ride back.

I'm hoping to make it, although I'll have to test my foot first. I couldn't skate tonight cos of on-going pain in my left foot. I'll try to post something tomorrow by mid to late morning.
