Hey one more question to those my experienced about bikes than me.

Need to take my bike for a first service. Anyone you would recommend in London? What are typical turn around times? and cost?

Condor seems to be the choice place to go.

It is usually done in a day, i.e. drop in the morning, collect in the afternoon. You need to call them to book a slot (could be 1-2 weeks waiting list depending on the day you want to do it).

Prices (though Evans seems to have gone up) will be in and around the same across all LBS.

for a bike like yours Glenn I would also consider the Bike Whisperer, which is where I went for my bike fitting...he's in Ealing so not exactly centrally based and not sure what his lead time is, but definitely worth checking out
