For those not gong to Berlin or those coming back straight after the race who fancy a track race the following day

Secondly, Birmingham Wheels RSC would like to inform you of their intention to hold a race meeting on the Birmingham Wheels Adventure Park track on Sunday 30th September 2007. Closing date for entries is Monday 17th September 2007. All entries with accompanying correct fees (cheques payable to BIRMINGHAM WHEELS RSC) are to be sent to Ruth Fry at:

Entries received after this date or made on the day of the event will be accepted at double the advertised entry fee.
Note that the races start at 12 noon with registration between 11.00am and 11.30am. The entry fees and expected race programme is as follows:
Cat 1 800m, 2000m & 5000m £2.50 each event
Cat 2 800m, 1500m & 3000m £2.50 “ “
Cat 3 500m, 1000m & 2000m £2.50 “ “
Cat 4 400m, 800m & 1500m £2.50 “ “
Cat 5 400m, 800m & 1000m £2.50 “ “
Cat 6 300m, 500m & 800m £2.50 “ “
Cat 5 & 6 2000m Points £2.50
Cat 3 & 4 3000m Points £2.50
Cat 1 & 2 5000m Points £2.50
The lower categories in the Points races will benefit from a handicap (ie. head start). Only one point shall be awarded to the first person across the line on each of the designated points laps, with the exception of 3-2-1 points awarded to the first, second and third persons across the line on the last lap.
Medals will be awarded to the first three overall in each category and the first three in each of the points races. Winners shall receive a trophy.
There shall also be a full RAT race programme.
