TO ALL SKATERS

Birmingham Wheels RSC will be holding an event (subject to permit) at the Birmingham Wheels Adventure Park, Saltley, Birmingham, on Sunday 6th May.

Registration will start at 11.00am and racing will commence at 12 noon prompt.

Details of the races are as follows:

Category 6    -    500m & 800m
Category 5    -    500m & 1000m
Category 4    -    800m & 1500m
Category 3    -    1000m & 2000m
Category 2    -    1000m & 3000m
Category 1    -    1500m & 5000m
Category 6 & 5 2000m "Little Devil"
Category 4 & 3 3000m "Little Devil"
Category 2 & 1 5000m Keith Lee Boot
Inter-Category Knockout

All races are £2.50 each (ie. £10.00 per person for all 4 events).

The lower category in each of the "Little Devils" will have a handicap (ie. a head start)

All entries with cheques for the correct ammount should be sent to:

John Fry
Birmingham Wheels RSC - Hon. Sec.
25 Badger Lane
Grange Park
Northampton
NN4 5DH

Cheques should be made payable to BIRMINGHAM WHEELS RSC.  The closing date for advance entries is 22nd April. Entries on the day will cost double the advertised price. If you have any queries you can contact me direct on 01604 877520.

I look forward to seeing you all there.

John Fry
BWRSC - Hon. Sec.

If you are in FISS but not racing in the Dusseldorf marathon or the Hannover half or perhaps Basel that weekend then you have to go for the inter-cateogry knockout at least. It's always brilliant fun. Might as well make a day of it and do the other races too to get yourself warmed up. It's a lovely track too.

Why can't FISS races take payment by bank transfer?  I've not seen my chequebook since last time I moved house ...

I won't be there this time.

I've been to the race once and the inter category challenge was good fun Smile

I on the other hand still have my chequebook, I can write a cheque for us both, hell, we can even split the stamp, I'll need to confrim something on that day but apart from that it should be doable.

Or I can jsut stand you a check for cash or whatever.

If anyone's driving up, I'm happy to spring for petrol.  I looked at the National Rail site, and it seems to involve more buses than trains
