I don't know if I explained it very well earlier: Think of it this way: If the cuff of the boot is baggy then it can build up more speed and energy as it moves towards your ankle as it has further to go, thus hitting it harder.
This is certainly what I found at any rate! |

As I was putting my Bonts on today, I managed to rip half of the tongue out of my left skate .... not impressed! I found that I was somewhat wobbly on my left skate in the subsequent training session due to the extra space in the boot.  |

| As far as i know the Jets have the same padding, just made from cheaper material. |
