Concentrate on finding the right line to take during your warm up, |
took that piece of advice, and glad I did... but it all went to pot in the race! instinct says hug the turn... but sense says follow the line that works... but instinct won in the race! |

Naomi was silver medalist in the senior's race, and Naomi and Erika won silver in the relay. How most of these guys can race indoors, I don't know, I'd go stir crazy. Guess we're lucky that we can street skate so much. Loads of excitement in the men's relay with Hans and Gav giving us an action-packed skate and looking soooooo cool doing it. What a great team! And Alastair and Belotti Dave giving us a nailbiting last 7 laps in the vets race. Phew! What a fabulous season we have in front of us. |

Cool to see so many London Skaters at todays race!!!!!!!!!!!
Probably won't be long now before your filling the ranks of the elite racers. The club seems to get bigger every time you turn up to an event.
There was some fast and furious racing today, in all age groups, on a circuit that was grippy and let the skaters stretch there wings a bit for once - and what about that senior mens final - whoooooooooooooooooooo. Sorry - I'm being a bighead there!
Seriously though, don't forget we've got the outdoor seasons coming up so I hope to see you all there when we race big boys banked track at B/Wheels & Tatem.
Oh - and one important tip for next year - bring a bottle of vinegar & a rag with you. It'll clean your wheels and give you super duper grip in the early part of the race.

| I thought it was a tactical advantage thing, make our stomachs rumble so we couldn't concentrate on the racing... |

Naomi, I see your master plan to take over the full world of UK skating is working. How long before you are the unified champ of all disciplines... (Ramp, figure, outdoor racing left?)
would someone be nice enough to do a full write up on the event?
thanks

I still need to develop my evil laugh.
Ramp: done that for years, and im still seeing my life flash before my eyes before dropping into the vert, and yelping as I air the spine. not for me...? though I believe bladercross is the gift of angels.
Figure? oh come on. a lycra skinsuit is as offensive as im getting..! |
