This is a split event with the races on 19th at Tatem Park and on 20th at Birmingham Wheels.

Please be aware if you are planning to travel by Tube to Tatem on 19th that there is engineering works that weekend. The track from Arnos Grove to Cockfosters is closed and Bounds Green Station is closed. This will almost certainly affect the service to Turnpike Lane as trains may not turn around quite so easily at Arnos Grove. Allow a little more time for you journey. This may also affect above ground transportation in the area.

Hi- there are also major roadworks on the M6 all summr so you may have to come off a junction earlier than you normally do... its still in Birmingham, but you'll need new off the motorway directions.

First time I can remember them happening at the same time. They are normally one at Birmingham and one at Tatem and spread out bya few weeks. This year it was decided to get them out of the way in one weekend in Birmingham. The dates were put into the calendar but it was then found out we couldn't get the track in Birmingham on the Saturday so that was switched to Tatem. Shame as the Birmingham track is the best around for the time being.

hi cherie, I don't think it will be a big turnout by the club as a few of us are away doing the 111km (and its track racing Sad ), but I hope enough go to make it respectable.

I would love to be there but it's in the middle of the school holidays and I'll be in France being Grandpa to  my French grandchildren.

If I'm short of fun to have next weekend, give me a nudge and I can help with fuel costs.
