| Latest news. The owners of the Birmingham Wheels track are permitting us to camp up by the track on the Saturday night for £5 a tent. I feel a track side party coming on and perhaps a BBQ. Anyone else up for some of that? We could do some silly skating stuff there too in the evening as they are going to keep the lights on and the toilets will be open. |

What are the British Track Champs anyway? Is it like category racing, or is it strictly a spectator thing for those of us not in cat 1?
If there's actual track time I could be tempted, seeing as I'm probably not going to Berlin |

| It's age group racing only. Time trials, and distances against anyone who wants to turn up. There is only 1 veterans race. There will be 3 man relays & 3 woman relays though they are often woefully under represented. |

I usually try and make these, one of the few times you can see how fast you are without all the cats getting in the way.
Being in the seniors I was a touch out classes by cat one, but damn it, I didn't come last...
Camping should be right fun too, would save and early start. |

Rick, does that mean that Vets can't race Vets and Seniors? ie you can only race your age group? I assume so, but just wanted to make sure.
If that's the case doesn't seem much point me going for just one race and a relay.

| Actually in the champs Vets can race in seniors without losing hteir vets status because there is only one vets dedicated distance. You'll get yor arse well and truly kicked though as it's just age category. Could be interesting to do a proper time trial on the Saturday though to see what you are made of. |

| Any plans for the rest of a relay team of LSST? I'm still up for this, Rick are you driving or want to share a car? |

I am probably driving up on the Friday afternoon. There is a probably FISS committee meeting in Brum and they don't want it to go on to the wee hours. Have taken the afternoon off to be on the safe side.
If not then I am up for a lift share of some kind.
Relay's not likely to be sorted until the Gav/Hans get back from the worlds. I haven't even seen the entry forms yet, unless they are in my entry pack. Can probably download them from the web. |

| I need somewhere to stay on Friday night now...probably. Looks like we have a FISS committee meeting at the track on Friday afternoon/eve. |

Right, So Andy and Gav, you up for a car share? Up on Saturday back on Sunday?
Thinking of camping, if not perhaps the F1. |
