Just re-read the plans for the weekend and apparently we have a skating session planned, so I won't be doing this one anymore.

1st train to Paddington sheduled to arrive at about 06:34. Whether I manage to catch it is rather weather dependant. Current forecast is not good. So I'll studdy the rain radar on Sat and decide. I'd be starting from HP and shooting photos as some of them leave.

I think the bad weather means I'll probably go indoor skating instead... Shame. But probably the most sensible option for me.

I chose to skate this morning but saw many Old Ladies by the roadside being helped by oragne RAC men or on low-loaders. Not a good day for the old mechanics. There's always next year. Did anyone from the club go?

Made it to Brighton at 2.30. Not the easiest ride with the heavy rain fall and all (Halloween skate and (?) pints at Smithfield!).

Crikey, I'm impressed! I wasn't going to go in that rain even if I was well. Well done! |
