I just received email from Ryanair about check in and hand bag allowance.
Please read:

HAND BAGGAGE RESTRICTIONS – FLIGHTS FROM THE UK, POLAND, FRANCE & ITALY
Please see below for the new hand baggage restrictions for flights from the UK, Poland (to the UK), France & Italy (to the UK)
Hand Baggage Allowance (10kg per person)
Each passenger is permitted to carry ONE item of hand baggage up to 10kg (bag dimensions have been reduced for all flights departing from the UK). If you are departing from a UK airport and in accordance with the UK Department for Transport, the following reduced cabin baggage dimensions apply - 45cm (length), 35cm (width) and 16cm (depth). These dimensions include the wheels, handles, side pockets, etc.
Passengers who arrive at a UK airport with hand baggage exceeding the above dimensions will be required to pay an additional checked bag fee or if they are over the maximum 20kg baggage allowance per person, an excess baggage fee will be charged of £5.50/€8 per kilo (or local currency equivalent).
General Information on Checked Baggage Allowances
A checked baggage allowance of 20kg per passenger applies to each customer who has paid a checked bag fee. Any passenger checking in baggage exceeding their checked baggage allowance of 20kg per person will be charged an excess baggage fee of £5.50/€8 per kilo (or local currency equivalent).
Passengers may not use the unused checked baggage allowance of other passengers. No pooling/sharing of the checked baggage allowance is permitted, even within a party travelling on the same Confirmation Number.
Checking In for Flights
Passengers should check in no later than 2 hours prior to their scheduled flight departure, to allow sufficient time to check in and to clear security. Flights cannot wait for passengers delayed at security points.
Please see hand baggage restrictions for each country listed below:

N.B. These restricted hand baggage dimensions are smaller than our published hand baggage dimensions.
As a result of these restrictions - extra seats cannot be purchased for the carriage of musical instruments, wedding dresses etc
Passengers carrying hand baggage that is larger that the above dimensions will not be permitted to enter the security restricted area and will not be permitted to return to the check-in area. In order to ensure that you will be accepted for entry to the security restricted area, please ensure that you fully comply with the following:

So that means that if you are taking the 6.25am flight this Friday, you should aim to be at the airport for 4.25am.
Dan, that means we are leaving from mine at 2.45am! |

Went to Rome last weekend (with Ryanair). I almost killed the guy as he said my 'camera bag' was too big. He came to reason in the end (No way I'm putting my camera bag as luggage
As for water, Yes, You can not have any liquid with you but you can buy any from the off-duty area (That's what I did and nobody said anything)
Also, make sure u have socks as you will have to take your shoes off (and that floor doesn't look too clean to me) |

Sebby told us when he was flying from Munich to Bremen for the workshop he had to take a sip out of his bottle. As he was still standing alive after a minute they let him pass.
This new kind of anti-terrorist-tactics is really strange sometimes... |
