All,
The committee has been discussing the possibility of holding a club fun day at Tatem to put all of our track practice to good use and to get as many LSST members together as possible.
The basic idea is to have a gentle but fun training session in the morning followed by a "bring your own" picnic and then an afternoon of handicap and relay races.
I would love to hear your thoughts as to whether this is something you would be interested in and also any ideas you may have for what the day could involve.
We were hoping for a day in August, but time is running out so we have also put down options for September and October (although a picnic at that time of year may be pushing it weather wise!)
Please let me know which date suits you best or if this is something that doesn't interest you. If you are available on more than one date, please post all dates that you could make below.
Thank you
LSST Committee |

Sounds like a brilliant idea. I'd be up for some of that. 15th August looks good but can also make 19th Sep out of those dates.
29th Aug coming back from Rhein on Skates and 10th October I will be route checking in USA |

Like Rick, sounds like a good idea! Unfortunately, that's where my agreement ends
I'm away on the 15th of August (it is also the weekend of Skate London), and not fancying the 19th of September as it's one week before Berlin. I'm wary of damaging myself, which Tatem has a history of invoking!
I voted for the 29th of August, but the 10th of October also sounds good.

Sounds good! I can make all dates I think, but would probably prefer one of the August dates.
If there was one thing I'd like to see, it would be race or two run clockwise round the track. I think it would be good practice for those of us who are too used to going the normal way and remind us that right-turns can be useful too!

Are you looking to get an upgrade on your avatar?
Might I suggest sending the post via email to our 2010 members distribution list as many probably don't frequent the forum? |

Will do. May also consider sending out to the 2009 and even 2008 members so we have a chance to catch up with some old faces |

| I'd be keen if around, but I'm only about 50/50 for the August/September dates. |

| I like the idea, but like Rick can't make the 29th August and for the same reasons as Ed would not be keen on 19th Sept. I voted for 10th Oct but see I'm in a minority there. |

Probably moving into our house on or around the 15th. Free thereafter. And no more moving! (for a bit) |

Lovely idea!
Voted for 29th August, won't be around on the 15th nor in September, and October doesn't really appeal... |

| I like the idea as well! Like Rick I'm coming back from Rhein on Skates on Aug 29th unfortunately. Might be able to make Aug 15, but that's Skate London and my parents may be around then. Sept 19 is best for me so far. |
