| Are we expecting a club race some time around Easter as in previous years? Trying to sort my calendar out, and can't see anything in this folder nor on the FISS site |

| We were planning a race on 18th April, but the indoor championships are now being moved to the 11th April and there was concern from FISS that two races in London in two weekends would lead to reduced numbers at our race. We are currently considering our options. |

Having looked at the FISS website at the race dates and venues, it shows the indoor champs on 4th April in Wisbech.
So it would seem FISS have changed the date and the venue ? Did they say where in London the indoor race would be held ? |

Not sure - I think it was somewhere in Essex, but can't really remember what Ben said |

Do you have a timetable of events?
I'm trying to work out weekend plans. Don't want to waste too much time at tatem on Sunday, so want to see what races are planned and when. That way I can decide if I'll come, do all the races or just a couple.
Then decide if I'm driving etc.... or staying in bed, or going cycling etc |

Me and Gwen are officiating, but Chris CW can't get there until after 2pm, I don't know who else.

Does this mean that the track will not be available that morning while the club race is being set up? Some of us who can't make the Tuesday sessions are still keen to carry on with Sunday morning sessions in an unofficial capacity.
I may come up to watch the day. If I get the urge to race (not saying that I will), could I just volunteer on the day? |

You can come and use the track in the morning until the officials kick you off. Racing is due to start at 12pm and the track may get a bit busy for 30 mins before that as people start to warm up.
You can register on the day for racing. You will need to be a member of FISS, or pay for a day licence. Registration is usually open from 11 - 11:30.
Fred, Pam and I will be arriving between 9 and 9:30 to start setting up. Anyone else who would like to come down and play with putting up the new gazebos would be most welcome |

You can do the 'rat races' for just £2, there will be 2 of them.
Rat races are for people who want to try racing without having to be a member of Fiss.
All you have to do is sign up between 11am-11.30am and pay your £2, you will of course need a helmet.
Hope this helps. |
