Yes Tanya there is room.
Costs split 3 ways with you, Ray and I are:
Ferry £49 return
Fuel about £60 ish
Green Card for car insurance £27
So travel costs work out at about £45 each
The hotel I usually stay in is Hotel Cristall but there is a backpacker hostel nearby or a campsite not too far from the start. I prefer the hotel. I think they used to charge 69€ including breakfast for a single in the past but I can't see their room rate on the booking this year and the system has changed. There is the hotel Amsterdam in the same area for £71 for a 3 bed room or there is the hostel Gav stayed in last year. Not sure how to book that will have to sift back through the old posts.
Registration is 60€ another 19€ if you want one of their nice breathable Ts, etc. If registered before Friday 11pm. You can use a credit card to register.
Total price is <£120 each, if we go for cheap accommodation. About £150 if we splash out a bit.
They may have changed the starting. If you want the licensed start they are asking for your license number. Ray, in case you can't remember, yours is FM135 I still have your FISS card from when you forgot to get it back after a race. Same with yours Gav, you left it in Birmingham at the outdoor champs. |

Called PeterC and there is a possibility of us being 4 which is nice. Also keeps the costs very low split 4 ways. He will confirm tomorrow
I would like a definate from Ray and Tanya too for this one before I book. As I can't afford to fly or drive solo. I have texted both of you to confirm.
online registration is here:

Just trying to get my chip number from Race ahead.
Had problems with the postcode, but I think I have that sorted now.
Not booked yet, but trying. |

If you can't get a chip number to enter - tick the "I will rent a chip" box, and then register your chip at the marathon.
If you don't get registered today - you're only chance of registering is in Cologne on the 7th and that will cost 15€ more, |

Startnummer: S2542
And I have a chip number too. (Is there a central club listing for chip numbers?)
I booked for the pasta party, but declined the towel or the wellness bag (double) because I didn't want to know more.
I did go for the insurance, because Dan hasn't entered yet, so someone else has got to stack. |

This is the place Gav stayed last year:
http://www.hostel-cologne.de/prices.htm
They have a 4 bed dorm with a bathroom for 21€ each. Not checked availability yet. I just wanted to make sure this was okay with everyone? I know Tanya didn't have a problem with mixed dorm in Bergamo does anyone else before I book?
If I can't get the one with the bathroom then I'll go for the one without which will save us 2€ each. |

Ferry Booked. They slapped on a £10 fuel surcharge for reservations made from 16 June which pissed me off. Why can't companies be honest about their costs in their pricing? It wouldn't have made a difference to the choice. BA do the same thing and it irritates me considerably.
Hostel Booking request also made. |
