You suck!
Just kidding - well done, and nice race report. If you had time to wave at the locals and take in the scenery, you obviously had more in you. |
Agree with ed. you suck, and you could've worked harder

yeah right, i figured that if i took the piss i.e. attacked the five zepto girls they may punish me!!!! I decided just to have fun instead
I had nowhere to go unless i went by myself, a team of two or three others and it might have changed things a bit !! |

Reminds me, anyone found any photos of the race yet?
[ edit: oh, just thought to check speed.skate-berlin.de and there's a whole thread: http://speed.skate-berlin.de/f/viewtopic-t-2173.html. Haven't looked at the actual pictures yet, though ] |

Hope everybody heals soon.
Many congratulations, and really good results for everybody. I'll certainly try to be there next year. |

Forgot to mention this here, but a nice 7 minute video by German Television can be downloaded from http://www.soeren-harder.de/koeln06.avi (43 MB)
Note: This is a high quality XVid File. Play with VideoLan or download the individual codec, and make sure your machine is fast enough |

It was nice to see Ray, Rick and Tanya just before the start in Cologne.
I saw Rick briefly in the First Aid tent at the end before I was carted away to a local hospital by ambulance - very embarrassing! I hit a hole and took a tumble soon after the half-way timing mats and broke the upper part of my left arm. However, I skated on and finished in 01:30:53.
I've since had an operation to install a plate and nine screws. So that's the end of my season - I've managed to transfer my Frankfurt 2006 entry to 2007 with a small Euro 10 administrative fee.
All being well, I'll no doubt see some of you at the start line in Bonn
on 22.04.07. For those of you who are going to Frankfurt - Enjoy!
Tanya, the top team managers might be knocking at your door very soon.
All the best,
Andrew. |

It was great to see you at Cologne. Rick said that you'd fallen but we didn't realise that you had got up and carried on to finish in a very impressive time - half a marathon at good pace with a broken arm - respect
Bonn sounds good - see you there! |
