Are the RP laps still happening (whether on Monday evening or other nights)?

There's not been any group arrangements for a while.  I was forced to do some unplanned laps on Saturday as I locked myself out and needed to wait for Liya to be on break so she could give me a key Smile

On very rare occasions, I have popped out, and it's usually been a last minute decision to do it, so I've not posted on here.  I haven't done nearly as much as I would have liked.

In any case, I am looking to pick up with more regular cycling in the weekday evenings aside from my commute - most likely on Mondays.  It maybe RP laps, but thanks to Matthew B, I do have a more varied alternative to Regents Park Laps - a shy of 30km North London loop:

Howard's also mentioned there's the Rapha Club ride on Thursday evenings.  Not sure if we'd be welcome to come along to see what it's like - Christophe, can you shed any light on it?

I'm happy to post here if people are interested to come along on either.

I'll have a look at Matt's route.

As for the Thursday evening rides being run by Rapha, they leave from the store on Brewer Street around 6:30pm I believe and finish around 8pm though people join in and drop out whenever they like. There's no signing up or anything as it's advertised as a "social ride". The pace isn't crazy and we obviously obey the Highway Code rules, stop at red lights, blah blah.
Last week there were about 25-30 riders, and it's definitely on my diary this week again.
I'd say that it's probably just a tad slower than our own LSST laps, IIRC.

Rapha ride was OK - I tagged along to Regents, did a few laps with them, sprinted a lap then went home.

Nice to see you there. There were about half as many riders as the previous one. At least it was dry, and the coffee afterwards was great!

Thursday evening riders: the Rapha ride will be leaving the Cycle Club in Soho at 5:30pm this week. If it's too early, you can always join up from Regent's Park later on. Will go on till about 8pm.

Long overdue...I'll be heading out this evening, approx 5.30pm till 7pm.

Happy for company, but if not...hopefully there will be others out there to shelter behind!

Thinking about doing the rapha ride later, 6.30 opposite the Royal college of physicians if anybody fancies it.
