Sat - Maybe some late afternoon Hyde Park skating
Sun / Mon - TBC

Can you qualify this a bit further, please? How many laps would you do? Is it high intensity throughout each lap, with short breaks in between?
What would be the equivalent for the not-so-"elite" skaters?
* Imagine Gav's idea of "speed / power" and divide it by 100. |

inner lap warmup, 2 laps, and then a few hill sprints up to the ballet school.
An equivalent could be done using the medium lap, with the same goals in mind. 3 medium laps would do it for sure. It's more what you think your body could handle.
And yes, high intensity and then short rest breaks (skating at about 60-70%) on the easy sections. |

Lies i tell you ... the "official" schedule is:
Friday - Cruise in the Park doing some light technique work for me and then the Good Friday Easter skate, a quick drink afterwards form me... many, many, many drinks for Gavin
Saturday - Richmond, endurance session. 10am start, aiming for the normal amount of laps you do plus 1, at a slower pace - inhale alcohol fumes given off by Gavin
Sunday - Richmond, speed / power session. 10am start. Working hard, fast, and attacking hills... Relax with the Sunday bunny stroll
Monday - Tatem, intervals. 12pm start. |

Hmmm. A single lap at Richmond? Tempting.
(Though I have three course exams to do this weekend, so time's an issue...) |
