They might not be too happy though, from what I've read the weather was pretty bad, the winner did 1:01 which is very slow for that course...

was he there!? damn, would've been good to catch up. Never saw him. I had massive problems with my wheels in the conditions and barely managed to keep with that group.

Yeah, the weather was crap. The rain was hammering down with thunder and lightning until about 20 minutes before the race. I reckon about 300 people got back on the busses and didn't skate it, it was so bad.

Absolutely legendary weekend though. By far the most fun race I've gone and done. The atmosphere, the scenery, the location, the drive from Milan and back (up/down the Alps), the party on saturday night, the party on saturday night and definitely ... the party on saturday night. Me telling a certain Columbian professional RB skater how to button his shirts up, getting hammered on the dance floor with some of Team Zepto, Hans explaining to some of the others pros how to pick up chicks (no idea how he has any idea, but anyway). What a laugh.

Next year, we are hiring a bus from Milan, and all of yous are coming along.
