A series of meettings today, I was involved with, has shown that there is a big interest, with sponsors, in getting involved with, the WIC in 2006 & beyound.
The WIC is moving ahead & we all need to get behind the movement & make it bigger & better.
The season has not finished & these are some plus's. as we think about 2006.
1/ Definately, one big new fully International team in the ladies division, capable of Challenging for the WIC overall title.
2/ Two new ladies teams out of Germany.
3/ One German mens team strengthening up, to contest the full WIC circuit.
4/ One new mens team, comming out of England.
5/ A complete team of 5 N.Z. men, to be SWiss based.
6/ A very strong possibility of a Colombian flavour team, of men & women, contesting a greater number of WIC races.
7/ One new swiss based ladies team.
8/ The probability of other N.Z. & Australian women, basing themselves in Switzerland to do the fullSIC series & Europe WIC races.
So things are happening & moving ahead, at a rate of knots.
With some major big sponsors in negotiation, with the WIC.
