A heads-up to FNRTTC riders: Simon (the organiser) says they've been having fun and games with their insurance, and for future rides the only way he can reasonably make it work is by requiring (almost) all attendees to be CTC members. However, this doesn't mean paying out £36 - he's created a club affiliated to the CTC which people can join and obtain CTC "Affiliate Membership" for the princely sum of £12. This is a stripped down CTC membership which includes the insurance and various discounts in various bike shops, but not the magazine or the legal advice line
