|
|
Now that I have virtually retired from skating I have decided to change my Suunto HRM and components for someting more cycling specific.
The Suunto does of course offer cycling data with the Racing Bike Pod but in my case the GPS and PC Pod which I used for skating are now redundant so I have decided to sell it all as a package
These components make up a great skating/cycling/running/training package as its all pods are independent of each other and the Training Manager can record all data seperately (screenshot below)
Everything is fully working and in very good condition. Includes all original Suunto User manuals and most of the original packaging. The individual components come to well over £300 but I am looking for £160 for the lot
Here is whats on offer
Suunto T3 Heart Rate Monitor - Polished Black Version
includes AC8 Analogue transmitter and interchangeable elasticated strap

Spare (brand new in package) Suunto Black Polished Wrist strap
Suunto Racing Bike Pod
Front wheel spindle pairs and talks directly to the wrist monitor; includes handlebar mount

Suunto GPS Pod
Includes plastic universal belt clip and elasticated arm band holder
Suunto PC Pod
Allows all real time recorded data to be uploaded to your PC and (free) Training Manager Lite software

You can read all tech specs here. For watch or accessories |

Retired from skating!?
You're still too young for that, Andy!
A quick question about the package you're selling: with this Suunto HRM/GPS do you still have the hands-behind-your-back issue (i.e. the watch not being able to pick the HRM belt signal)?
Cheers,

Yes this issue exists if you wear the watch and HRM in the normal manner.
I found a very successful workaround wearing the watch with the face on the bottom of my wrist and by wearing the hrm belt almost under my left armpit (obviously not fully else it would block all signals!)
This solved the problem and after getting over the initial strange feeling of wearing things differently it didn't bother me
Not so much an age thing as nowhere to skate in Suffolk. By way of compensation I am doing loads more cycling! |
