| You were probably going too fast. I have skated that track in both directions an it is way worse the other way round the way the wind was blowing yesterday. When you make the turn to toward the line in a clockwise direction, you go uphill and upwind to the point that nobody races over the line. 3 years ago the wind was coming from the same direction but stronger and we raced the other way (the way the cars go) making that last turn and people nearly stopped. Then the rain came down so the wind was only the second most annoying thing. |
