I was one of the roller derby girls rumbling along on quads on Sunday - I was very impressed with you speedy skaters and my curiosity on all things speed skating is now piqued! I may well drop round to Tatem Park when it's been resurfaced..

I managed to finish in 2h 31 mins, which I was quite pleased with, given that I was stupidly wearing new skates, was wearing quads and I haven't really skated outdoors much before (and certainly not for hours at a time!)
