I've just come back to find the registration form for the Hamburg Marathon. I'm definitely going - any other takers?

2nd race of the World Inline Cup. All the pros are there.... Good circuit.

Last year there were 1000 skaters, year before that 2500. I really enjoy this race. It's also a very good goal to aim for to start your season.

The Bonn decision may have been taken out of our hands - there is no registration for skaters as yet. According to the forums they are not doing it in 2005. Probably because of the experience this year...

Actually this year Hamburg was the one destination that was well suited to Ryanair as they had flights at sensible times. I could do with sharing a lift with someone or 3 if I am going to park again. Makes it very cheap. Will look into flights a bit later.

Just checked the Ryanair timetable. It's changed from this year so we would have to fly out at 06:30. Which I guess is okay, we would have an early even return flight at 18:50. Not quite as convenient as flying out at lunch time and back early afternoon. Flight cost is £54.98, parking will be £14.40 split between everyone, bus fare was about 8€ each, each way I think. Fuel will be about £10 split between everyone.

2 up this is about £75 each, 3 up about £70 each.

In comparison BA come out at £112.50 and BMI/Lufthansa at £110.50 flight only. Both flying out a little later in the morning and returning within an hour of the RyanAir flight.

Who else is up for RyanAir?

Changed my mind. In the light of the Skatefresh (no not that one) tour of the Netherlands I have decided not to stay over between Hamburg and Hanover. Have now booked the same flights as you Gav. Want a lift in the motor?
