Thought I'd let you know, in case someone has time and cash left over from the already numerous events attended . Fees are €25 for now, will go up in May. Helsinki is a really nice little place.
Link here (only in Finnish though, feel free to ask me to translate):

I'd probably pop across the gulf if I was visiting home but we're not going 'til Aug. |

Could potentially be interested in this if others are.
Are there any cheap flights to Helsinki, though?
The EasyJet Tallinn flights are at times which would mean taking a day off work (though would be nice to catch up with friends there), Ryanair flies to Tampere which looks at least a 4-hour drive northwest of Helsinki (though with good flight times), and Air Berlin and Lufthansa look pretty expensive to get there...
Sol - what time does the full marathon start? I could see times in the website you linked to, but not too sure which times were what... |
