Yes, you read correctly. In 2007 - before the biking elite will start their race around the Henninger Turm / Frankfurt - skaters will take over the race course. 
Organised by the TNS, Kai Menze and the orga staff of the bike race the skate race can be done over a distance of 35km (through rather flat terrain) or full 74km distance with a little loop though the hills of the Taunus. 
Start : 10:10h
Fees: 38 euros until 12.04. , 48 euros from 13.04.
time limit : 3 hours (you have to pass km33 until 11:40 Uhr, i.e. after max. 1:30h and km53 until 12:30 Uhr, after 2:20h .... and if you don't, they send you back on alternative routes so that you don't get run over by the Pro Team bikers)
