Have you arranged your trip yet?
The race is Sunday, so traveling on Sat is fine.

I'm undecided if to go home sunday evening or monday morning.
It might be easier to recover by sleeping in st Gallen sunday evening.

To go there, Zurich is the closest airport but only Ba or Swiss goes there + 1 hour train. current prices can be had for £110-130 can leave from GTW,HTR or City

Basel is the nearest lowcost airport but then its 2.30 hours train to Zurich. Luton>Basel = £80 (also standstead)

If you want to book together let me know your plans (I can even do the booking for 1 or 2 if you want).
Alex

missed that airport... but then It doesn't show on most online maps!

hmmm £43 but from stanstead, Stanstead is really not convenient for me, I'm still considering flying to Zurich, Connection to St Gallen is dead easy with one train every 30 minutes inside the airport.

Friedrichshafen is on the northern shore of Lake Constance (Bodensee), fairly central.

Its on the other side of the lake. Looks like then you take a ferry then a train or a bus to go to St Gallen.

Just booked in to this.  I'm going out for a week.  I'll be heading out the previous weekend for a wedding in Luzern.  Then will hang around skating or travelling or something for a bit.  Maybe visit someone else.  Omigodimsoskintnow. Yikes!

I've opted for the hall and pasta and leave from Zurich at 20.15pm

(Hope there's enough time to get back to Zurich)

Right, I'm in.  Slightly laster than last minute booking (apparently it was supposed to close yesterday ...)

How many days either side of the event is the sports hall open for?  Friday/Monday flights are a whole pile cheaper
