i am booked!!  Same flight as posted on this thread: Stansted - Friedrichshafen with Ryanair Sat 7.15am to Sunday 21.40. I also booked the Hall. I am so exicted!! now i need to think about maybe adapting my training, i actually never skated such a long way Shocked  Are you doing any special training or just marathon training is sufficient?

That's a good question, not least because it's probably too late to do much of anything new anyway.

OK, I just booked that flight too.  Might as well get on with it.

not really cause u said  only train for one event @ a time.

do we actually have time to train? given this w/e is out, then we just have the end of next week, the w/e  and the beginning of next!  not really much time.

I'm not going now, going to Cornwall instead with family.  I'm losing interest in skating.

well i guess it depends what your priority is, innit? i am not doing LIM anyway Laughing  no seriously, 111km, i do not intend to race it, i am mad but not that mad. i am actually looking for a skating partner so we could chat and support each others and that will be a bit more fun. Tanya, are you in with me?

Response from 111 organisers:
Quote:
Unfortunately the Olma-accomodation is only aviable Saturday night. If you plan on coming on Friday/leaving Monday you should consider finding a hotel/B&B in St.Gallen. I would suggest to contact info@st.gallen-bodensee.ch for further recommodations.

Time to enact plan B Dan!

No Alex said that you should be ok as long as you check with them and in the worse case scenario we would smuggle you in....

With Mike not coming, yiu can probably just claim his bed...

i'll ask them how much we have to pay to cheat and only skate the finish but still classify as finishing the 111km.
