| Given the security problem whatsits, what time are you going to Stanstead for the Sat 7:15 flight? I'm thinking of getting there at least 4 hours before, but I could be convinced to go from Central London after the LFNS or bike stuff and go straight from there and sleep at the airport. |

My plan had been to get an early night on Friday and then wake up for 4 on Saturday, on the basis that I would then be in better shape to wake up at whatever time it is on Sunday for the 7am race start.
But it does sound rather like I'll be completely out of phase with everyone else if I do that. And I've tried this "early night" thing before, without a whole lot of success |

| We'll wake you up on the Sunday, just open your mouth and pour some pasta in at 5am. I'm more worried about not being able to take Red Bull on the plane! |

I've sent dan an email saying i'll pick him up @ 4am outside bethnal green tube.
I can pick up whoever at the same time. If u do bike stuff I can pick u up from brens! I would offer my house (well small space in a large block of flats) but I probably won't be staying there.. and can't get the keys to u. |

Good luck to everyone - I'll be thinking of you when you're going up, up and .... actually, no I won't, I'll be relaxing and thinking "this is the life"
And please, no more injuries. |

Yeah good look everybody! You attempt to skate the 2nd longest inline race in the world (as far as I know). So have fun, take care and come back in one piece please.

Being a bit picky here :
- A2A organizers are adamant that A2A is *not* a race
- The Canadians also have a big race
But you are right, it is important to have a good look, as many pictures are shot during the race, you are sure to find your face somewhere on the Net : keep smiling till the end
The One-eleven also is the race where you usually beat your marathon BP, even though you still have another 69 km to go. |

Even more fame for those who finish it! |

I looked up train connections on the excellent German rail website
Friedrichshafen Stadt to St Gallen 11.31, 11:46, 12:31. Takes between 1h28 and 2h10. Costs around 16/20 Euros.
St Gallen to Friedrichshafen Stadt 17:01, 18:04. 19:01. Takes less than 1h30. Maybe the wind is behind us at this point? |

There is a high chance of rain... so think ahead of what you would need in case its wet or there is rain.
Any one got a set of spare grippy 100mm wheels? I'm stuck with star wheels or my seriously wedged street wheels. I might have to buy some in St Gallen if there is rain.
So that I'm not fleeced, which wheels are currently decent in wet weather?
<edit>
Looks like starwheels will do the job

| Oops! Are you saying that you've had problems with Star wheels in the wet? See you in hospital then, because I don't have any others either! |
